We’re seeking an experienced Structural BIM specialist who wants to shape a new generation of AI-powered drafting and modeling tools.
As a Structural Modeler in the R&D department, you will:
* Work hand in hand with our lead engineer and R&D team to produce the highest level modeling and drafting outputs as a reference for AI development.
*Turn your experience and insights into repeatable workflows and collaborate with our AI software engineers to convert them into autonomous agents.
* Test early prototypes, refine modeling standards, and build structural content libraries, ensuring every automated step meets code and professional expectations.
* Grow with the company-define best practices, mentor future hires, and influence the roadmap of a frontier-tech startup.

Key Responsibilities:
* Revit Modeling & Documentation
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models of concrete and hybrid steel-concrete structural elements (beams, columns, slabs, foundations) in Revit.
- Produce construction-ready drawings (plans, sections, details) and schedules directly from the Revit model.
- Work in an AEC Cloud environment (Autodesk ACC, BIM 360 etc.
* Technical Support & Library Management
- Maintain and enhance company Revit content libraries (model and annotation families, typical details, setting templates).
- Advise engineering team on best practices for BIM and drafting standards.
* Client Liaison & Deliverables
- Liaise directly with third-party engineering firms to review requirements, manage feedback cycles, and deliver finalized drawings on schedule.
- Prepare and package drawing sets, PDFs, and model exports per client CAD/BIM protocols.
* Research and Development (R&D)
- Collaborate with our internal AI R&D team to provide feedback, guidance and insight in developing drafting automation and workflow enhancements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Education & Experience
- Two year technical or associates degree in Structural Engineering (“Handesai”)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Revit experience focused on concrete structural drafting in an AEC environment.
Very good spoken and written English.
* Technical Proficiency
Expert-level skills in Autodesk Revit (modeling, drafting, families, parameters).
Strong command of AutoCAD for 2D detailing and legacy drawing use.
Understanding of structural design principles, concrete reinforcement detailing, and applicable building and detailing codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE).
Familiarity with Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection.
* Soft Skills & Attributes
- Excellent communication skills—able to interpret engineer sketches, ask clarifying questions, and present drawing clarifications to clients.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Team player with a proactive mindset, capable of integrating into both internal and external project teams.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience as a drafting team lead, BIM management.
- Proven experience in collaboration on international projects.
- Experience with other BIM tools (Tekla Structures, Bentley ProConcrete).
- Familiarity with Python or Dynamo scripting for Revit.
- Exposure to 3D concrete reinforcement modeling and fabrication workflows.
